The Z-E3771 is pre-setup for direct use in vehicles of the newer 8/9/2 series of model years as of 2021/2024. The settings for the steering wheel remote control and sensor key illumination can be adjusted in the setup menu.
The original tablet/document holder on the dashboard – if present – is functionally impaired by the installation of the Z-E3771
and cannot be used anymore.
To install a Z-E3771 device, the vehicle must be equipped with the (aftermarket) radio installation option.
The Z-E3771 is not compatible with vehicles fitted with OE device (radio, naviceiver).
To provide sufficient antenna signal levels for correct tuner function, the vehicle must be equipped with a high-quality active
antenna system (FM/DAB+).
